What is Marketing campaigns at AI-DARE?

AI-DARE's marketing campaigns service plans and produces integrated campaigns for brands in Qatar and the GCC, from campaign strategy and the creative idea to launches, activations, film, social and out-of-home assets. Ideas are written natively in Arabic and English and prototyped before production budget is committed.

  • The creative idea and campaign platform, written natively in Arabic and English

  • Integrated assets across film, out of home, digital, social, radio and retail
  • Activations and experiential moments in malls, events and public spaces

How it moves

  1. 01

    Brief

One question opens every campaign: what's your dare? We turn the answer into a sharp brief with a business objective, an audience and the one thing people should feel or do.

  2. 02

    Concept

We develop several creative routes and prototype them with AI visualisation, so you see the brave version early. Then we recommend one idea and argue for it.

  3. 03

    Produce

Film, photography, design, copy and media assets are produced from one creative direction, in both languages and every format the channel plan needs.

  4. 04

    Launch and learn

We stand next to you in public on launch day, track results against the brief and report honestly, including what underperformed, so the next campaign starts smarter.

What makes a marketing campaign work in Qatar?

A campaign works in Qatar when one clear idea speaks to how people here actually live, in the language they think in, at the moment they are paying attention. That means a bilingual idea rather than a translated one, a channel mix built for a very mobile audience, and timing planned around the local calendar.

Qatar's audience is mixed. Qatari citizens and a large expatriate population from dozens of countries read different media, follow different creators and respond to different references. A good campaign decides who leads and builds the idea for them first.

The calendar shapes attention. Ramadan, the two Eids, Qatar National Day on 18 December, the summer travel months and back to school each change what people buy and how they spend time online. We plan around them instead of competing blindly with every other brand.

Restraint matters too. In a market full of loud promotions, one confident idea, carried consistently across every touchpoint, is often what people remember.

How do you plan a Ramadan campaign in the GCC?

Plan a Ramadan campaign early and build it around the real rhythm of the month. Attention moves to the evening, after iftar and late into the night, families gather, and generosity and reflection matter more than discounts. The strongest Ramadan work says something true about that time instead of repeating lanterns and crescents.

Production should finish before the month begins. Shooting during Ramadan is possible but slower, with shorter working days and talent availability that changes, so we lock scripts, casting and locations well ahead.

Media weight shifts later in the day, and the clutter is intense because every brand wants the same moment. We usually plan a sequence: a quiet idea for the first days, a stronger presence toward the last ten nights, and a separate Eid moment rather than one asset stretched across all of it.

Tone needs care. Humour, music and casting choices that work the rest of the year may not suit the month, and expectations differ between Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. We review every piece through that lens before it goes out.

What is an integrated marketing campaign?

An integrated marketing campaign is one idea expressed across every channel, with each channel doing a different job. Film builds feeling, out of home builds fame, social starts conversation, search and paid media capture demand, and retail or WhatsApp closes the sale. Everything looks and sounds like it came from the same mind.

The opposite is common: a TV spot from one agency, social posts from another and a website that says something else. Customers notice the gaps, and budget leaks through them.

At AI-DARE one creative direction holds strategy, film, design, digital and growth, so the idea survives the trip from a Doha billboard to a 6-second vertical ad to the landing page it links to.

How do you launch a new brand or product in Qatar?

Launch in a sequence, not a single day. Build curiosity before the reveal, make the reveal a moment people can see or attend, then sustain it with content, search and sales support so interest turns into customers. In Qatar, word of mouth travels fast, so the first public impression has to be right.

We map the launch backwards from the opening date: when the website, booking or ordering flow must be live, when the press and creator previews happen, and when paid media turns on.

Creator partnerships need checking across borders. Saudi Arabia and the UAE both license paid influencer activity, so we confirm a creator's status in each market before any booking.

A launch is also an operations test. We work with your team so that the call centre, the WhatsApp line and the shop floor are ready for the demand the campaign creates.

Questions, answered.

How far in advance should we brief a campaign?

As early as you can. For seasonal moments like Ramadan, Qatar National Day or White Friday, and for any launch with a fixed opening date, brief us before the previous quarter ends. That leaves room to explore and test routes, book talent and locations, and secure media without paying for urgency.

Do you handle media planning and buying?

We plan the role of every channel as part of the campaign strategy and run digital media such as paid social and search through our growth team. For large out-of-home, TV, cinema or radio commitments, we work alongside your media agency, or help you brief one, so the creative and the media plan are built together.

Can you work with our in-house team or another agency?

Yes. Many brands in the region keep social, PR or media with an existing partner. We can own the idea and creative direction while others execute parts of it, as long as roles are clear from the start. We supply the toolkit, the files and the guidance so every partner produces work that belongs to the same campaign.

Do your campaigns include influencers and creators?

When the idea needs them, yes. We choose creators for fit and credibility with the audience, not follower count alone, and brief them with enough freedom to sound like themselves. We check commercial disclosure and licensing rules in each market, since Saudi Arabia and the UAE regulate paid creator content, and agree usage rights before anything is filmed.

How do you measure whether a campaign worked?

We agree the measures in the brief, before any creative exists. Depending on the objective that might be awareness and recall, search demand for your brand name, leads, bookings, sales or footfall. We set up tracking before launch and report against those numbers, including what underperformed. We do not promise results we cannot control.

What does "We carry the risk. You take it." mean for a campaign?

It means we absorb the creative risk. We explore the bold routes, prototype them and test them before you commit a production budget, so the brave idea feels safe enough to approve. It is not a guarantee of commercial results. Proposals and contracts define exactly what creative risk we carry.

Your safe idea has already been made.
